My kiss is the result
of the come-hither that flows
from the staircase of her eyes.
A musky succulence hides
where hallway light ends.
Shadow-thrown my fight-or-flight
mingles with her uncensored violence.
Stumbling to where skin folds inward
sandalwood and cedar scents
have nothing to do
with her pearly secret.
